All Hail the Caesar Wrap

This Caesar Salad Wrap combines the crispiness of air-fried chicken, the crunch of fresh romaine, and the traditional flavors of Caesar dressing, all while offering the perfect balance of taste and texture. Ideal for a quick lunch, a light dinner, or a healthy snack, these wraps are easy to prepare and packed with protein and nutrients. The air fryer ensures the chicken is perfectly cooked with minimal oil, making this a lighter yet satisfying option.

Ingredient Swaps

Chicken: If you’re not keen on chicken, try air-frying firm tofu that has been pressed overnight.

Dairy: You can substitute any of the dairy for non-dairy products as well.

How to Pick Tortillas

Find spinach tortillas in the same section as flour tortillas. You can also substitute them with whole wheat or even other vegetable tortillas.

Instructions

PREPPING THE CHICKEN

  1. Mix the salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl and season both sides of the chicken breasts.
  2. Place the crisper plate into the COSORI Air Fryer basket.
  3. Select the Preheat function, adjust temperature to 380°F, then tap Start/Pause.
  4. Coat the preheated crisper plate with oil spray, then place the chicken onto the crisper plate.
  5. Coat the chicken lightly with oil spray.

COOKING THE CHICKEN & ASSEMBLING THE WRAP

  1. Select the Roast function, adjust temperature to 380°F and time for 20 minutes, then tap Start/Pause.
  2. Remove the chicken when done and set aside to completely cool.
  3. Whisk together the ingredients for the Caesar dressing until well combined.
  4. Cut the chicken breasts into ½-inch chunks and add to a large bowl. Add the romaine, kale, shaved Parmesan, and croutons. Pour ¾ of the dressing into the bowl and toss to combine.
  5. Divide the mixture between the spinach wraps. Fold the bottom upwards and tuck both sides in. Roll upwards tightly then slice in half. Serve with the remaining dressing on the side.

Chef Notes: If you’re looking to bring this to a picnic or party, don’tdress it ahead of time but just serve the sauce on the side. You can also bring it deconstructed and build it at the picnic.
