Ingredient Swaps

You can use cod, trout, or any other fish in place of salmon.

Nutrition Information

This salmon salad is full of nutrients, especially healthy fats called omega-3s. Salmon and avocado oil are both great sources of these fats. Studies show that omega-3s may help the body burn fat more efficiently, store less fat, and use more energy, all of which can support optimal metabolic health.

Instructions

PREPARE THE FISH:

  1. Pat dry fillets with paper towels.
  2. Brush 1 tablespoon of dressing all over one fillet and sprinkle on 1 tablespoon of grated parmesan. Repeat with the other fillet.

AIR FRY THE FISH:

  1. Place the crisper plate into the air fryer basket.
  2. Select the Preheat function, adjust temperature to 450°F, then tap Start/Pause.
  3. Spray the oil spray onto the preheated crisper plate and lay the fillets skin-side-down onto the crisper plate.
  4. Select the Air Fry function at 385°F for 10 minutes, then tap Start/Pause.
  5. Remove when done and set aside to cool while you prepare the rest of the salad.

ASSEMBLE THE SALAD:

  1. Toss the romaine lettuce, mixed greens, and the remaining Caesar dressing and Parmesan in a bowl.
  2. Assemble by placing 2 cups of salad onto a plate with the fillet on top. Garnish with black pepper and serve with a lemon wedge.

Quick Tip: You can keep the dressing separate if you’re planning to meal prep and consume during the week. This will keep the salad from wilting and becoming soggy.
