These bite-sized delights combine the classic flavors of pizza with the fun and convenience of sliders, making them the perfect treat for any occasion. Whether you're looking for a quick and easy appetizer, a tasty snack, or a fun meal for kids and adults alike, these mini pizza sliders are sure to please. With Italian herb-seasoned beef patties, marinara sauce, melty mozzarella cheese, and whole-grain dinner rolls all cooked to perfection in the air fryer, you’ll have a delicious and satisfying treat in no time.

How to Pick Ground Beef

Look for lean ground beef. The leaner it is, the redder it will be. Look for grass-fed ground beef because it contains a beneficial fatty acid called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which can help prevent several diseases and conditions like obesity and diabetes.

Ingredients Swaps

Ground Beef: You can swap the ground beef with ground chicken or turkey, just ensure it is cooked to a proper internal temperature of 165°F.

Whole-Wheat Rolls: You can also substitute the whole-wheat/whole-grain rolls with gluten-free rolls to keep this recipe gluten-free.

Did You Know?

Beef is a rich source of iron, which is essential for producing red blood cells that transport oxygen throughout the body. Maintaining healthy iron levels can help prevent anemia, a condition that can lead to fatigue, lightheadedness, cold extremities, and pale skin.

What to Pair With Mini Pizza Sliders?

You can’t go wrong with golden potatoes:

Instructions

PREPPING THE BEEF PATTIES

  1. Place the crisper plate into the COSORI Air Fryer basket.
  2. Select the Preheat function, adjust temperature to 450°F, then tap Start/Pause
  3. Combine the lean ground beef, parsley, oregano, black pepper, salt, and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl and mix until combined. Form the mixture into 8 patties, shaping them slightly larger than the rolls as they will shrink as they cook.
  4. Place the beef patties onto the preheated crisper plate.

COOKING THE BEEF PATTIES & ROLLS

  1. Select the Broil function, adjust time to 7 minutes, then tap Start/Pause
  2. Remove the air fryer basket after 5 minutes of cooking, spoon 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce over each patty, and top with a slice of fresh mozzarella, then place the basket back inside the air fryer to finish cooking.
  3. Remove the patties when done and transfer onto a plate. Carefully wipe the crisper plate with paper towels.
  4. Place the rolls cut-side up onto the crisper plate.
  5. Select the Broil function, adjust time to 3 minutes, then tap Start/Pause
  6. Remove the rolls when golden brown and toasted.
  7. Assemble the sliders with lettuce and patties in the toasted rolls, then serve.

Chef Notes: These are best served warm. You can prep the patties up to 24 hours aheadand cook right before serving. Feel free to omit the fresh herbs in the beef mixture if your kid is picky! Try to use a higher quality store-bought marinara sauce with limited ingredients such as tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, basil, and salt.
