How to Pick Soy Sauce

Select soy sauce that has simple ingredients and isn’t flavored.

Ingredient Swaps

You can use red bell peppers instead of Thai chili peppers and green chili if you aren’t keen on spicy foods.

Tools Needed

Ingredients Needed

Scale 1x 2x 3x
Yield 6 Serving

Instructions

  1. Place the crisper plate into the COSORI Air Fryer basket.
  2. Place the eggs onto the crisper plate.
  3. Select the Bake function, adjust temperature to 270°F and time to 11 minutes, then tap Start/Pause. For medium boiled eggs cook for 13 minutes and for hard boiled eggs cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the eggs when done and immediately place them into an ice bath.
  5. Stir together the warm water and sugar in a medium bowl until sugar is fully dissolved.
  6. Add the soy sauce, green onions, garlic, sesame seeds, and chili peppers then mix well.
  7. Place eggs into the container and pour the marinade over the eggs.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for up to a week. Eggs will be ready to consume after marinating overnight.
  9. Serve with warm rice and a tablespoon of the marinade and ½ teaspoon of sesame oil drizzled on top.

Chef Notes: If you are weary about consuming raw eggs, you can cook them until they’re hard boiled.
