Picking the Best Frozen Salmon

Check for signs of freezer burn, such as ice crystals or clumping, which can indicate that the salmon has been thawed and refrozen.

Instructions

Honey Garlic Frozen Salmon

  1. Place the crisper plate into the COSORI Air Fryer basket.
  2. Select the Preheat function and tap Start/Pause
  3. Place the frozen salmon fillets skin-side-down onto the preheated crisper plate.
  4. Select the Air Fry function, adjust time to 10 minutes, then tap Start/Pause
  5. Stir together the coconut aminos, honey, minced garlic, salt, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl. Transfer half of the mixture into a separate bowl and set aside.
  6. Brush the tops of the salmon with half of the mixture.
  7. Select the Air Fry function, adjust time to 5 minutes for thinner fillets or 7 minutes for thicker fillets, then tap Start/Pause.
  8. Remove the salmon when it is golden brown on top and it easily starts to flake apart, then serve with the reserved sauce on top.

Chef Notes: The total cook time will depend on the thickness of the salmon. The best way to determine when the salmon is done is by checking the internal temperature with a food thermometer until it reaches 140–145°F.
