Peanut Butter Dog Bones

1 cup natural peanut butter (only ingredient should be peanuts)

½ cup water

½ cup applesauce
+
1 tablespoon honey
+
2½ cups whole wheat flour or oat flour

60 blueberries

Directions
STEP 1
Combine the egg, peanut butter, water, applesauce, and honey in a large bowl and whisk until smooth.
STEP 2
Add the flour and stir until a dough forms. If the dough seems too sticky, add more flour.
STEP 3
Roll out the dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper to ½-inch thickness.
STEP 4
Cut out the dough using a dog bone cookie cutter, then place the treats evenly between the COSORI Food Dehydrator trays.
STEP 5
Set temperature to 135°F and time to 6 hours, then press Start/Stop.
STEP 6
Remove when done, cool to room temperature on the trays, then serve to your pet.
STEP 7
Set temperature to 160°F and time to 4 hours, then press Start/Stop.
STEP 8
Remove the treats when done and dried but not crispy. Cool completely, then serve to your pet.
STEP 9
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
STEP 14
Remove the empanadas when done and brush again lightly with the egg wash for shine while they are still very hot, then serve with the chimichurri on the side.
