Grain Free Tuna Cat Treats

1 can tuna, packed in water (5 ounces)

1 egg white
+
12 egg yolks

Directions
STEP 1
Drain the canned tuna well and place the drained tuna in a food processor or blender. Set aside.
STEP 2
Place the egg white in a large mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, beat the egg white until stiff peaks form.
STEP 3
Place 2 tablespoons of the whipped egg white in with the tuna. Blend thoroughly until the mixture is a smooth paste.
STEP 4
Remove the tuna paste mixture and gently fold into the remaining whipped egg white.
STEP 5
Transfer the mixture to a piping bag with a small star nozzle attachment.
STEP 6
Line the COSORI Food Dehydrator trays with parchment paper.
STEP 7
Pipe the mixture into small rounds on the parchment paper-lined trays.
STEP 8
Set temperature to 145°F and time to 4 hours, then press Start/Stop.
STEP 9
Remove the treats when done and crispy and crunchy. Cool completely, then serve to your pet.
STEP 14
Remove the empanadas when done and brush again lightly with the egg wash for shine while they are still very hot, then serve with the chimichurri on the side.
