Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal Dog Treats

2½ cups quick-cook oats, divided

1 cup applesauce (only ingredient should be apples)

½ teaspoon cinnamon

2 eggs, lightly beaten

Directions
STEP 1
Place 2 cups of the quick-cook oats in a food processor or blender and pulse until it resembles a coarse flour. Place in a large mixing bowl.
STEP 2
Add the remaining oats, applesauce, cinnamon, and eggs and mix until well combined and forms a dough.
STEP 3
Divide the mixture into roughly ½-tablespoon-sized portions and place them evenly between the COSORI Food Dehydrator trays.
STEP 4
Set temperature to 135°F and time to 4 hours, then press Start/Stop.
STEP 5
Remove the treats when done and dried but not crispy. Cool completely, then serve to your pet.

Set temperature to 145°F and time to 4 hours, then press Start/Stop.
STEP 7
Remove the treats when done and crispy and crunchy. Cool completely, then serve to your pet.

Remove the empanadas when done and brush again lightly with the egg wash for shine while they are still very hot, then serve with the chimichurri on the side.
