Where should I place the air fryer?

We recommend placing your air fryer on a stable, level, heat -resistant surface. Make sure you keep it away from areas that can be damaged by steam (such as walls or cupboards). Please leave 5 inches / 13 cm of space behind and above the air fryer.

How do I make french fries that come out crispy instead of soggy?

Here are our recommended cooking tips to step up your french fry game:

  • For homemade fries, soak them in water for 15 minutes to get rid of the starch before you fry them. Pat them dry with a towel before adding ½–1 tbsp / 8–15 mL of oil.
  • Cutting smaller fries helps lead to crispier results. Try cutting them into ¼ x 3 inch / 0.6 x 7.6 cm strips.

Cooking tips from our in-house chefs:

  • Make sure you place your food in an oven-safe container before cooking when you’re making cakes, hand pies, or any food with filling or batter.
  • After cooking high-fat food, remember to discard the excess fat that drips and collects underneath the crisper plate. This helps prevent the fat from burning and creating smoke.
  • Liquid-marinated foods can drip and splatter, leading to excess smoke. We recommend patting these foods dry before air frying.
  • The Broil function is perfect for cooking oily food. Since it only uses the top heating element, it can create less smoke.

How do I pause cooking?

There are easy ways to pause cooking:

  • Tap the Start/Pause button to pause cooking. Remember, the air fryer will automatically turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity.
  • You can also pause cooking by removing the basket. Simply return the basket to the air fryer to resume cooking.
