Select Preheat on the COSORI Air Fryer, adjust the temperature to 400°F, then press Start/Pause.

Form the ground beef into 4 equally sized patties, a little less than ¾-inch thick. Season with the salt and pepper.

Place the beef patties into the preheated air fryer basket.

Set the temperature to 400°F and time to 14 minutes, then press Start/Pause.

Flip the burger patties over halfway through cooking.

Open the basket and top each patty with a slice of American cheese.
