Directions

  1. Step 1

    Mix the whole grain mustard, spicy brown mustard, mayonnaise, maple syrup, pickle brine, and black pepper in a small bowl until well combined.

    Remove the seeds and core from the pickle spears. Finely dice the spears.
  3. Step 3

    Roll out the puff pastry to a 10 x 10-inch square.
  4. Step 4

    Spread a thin layer of the mixture onto the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border on the top. Reserve the remaining mixture and set aside.

    Scatter the diced pickles across the puff pastry.
  6. Step 6

    Place a layer of pastrami and Swiss cheese on top of the mixture and diced pickles.
  7. Step 7

    Roll up tightly, starting from the bottom until you reach the top.

    Pinch the seams shut.

    Cut in half using a serrated knife, then cut the halves into thirds. At this point you will have 6 pieces. each piece in half and you should have a total of 10 rolls.

    Place the rolls onto the baking sheet of the COSORI Air Fryer Toaster Oven.

    Insert the wire rack at level 2 position in the oven.

    Select the Bake function, adjust temperature to 380°F and time to 20 minutes, then tap Start/Pause to preheat.
  13. Step 13

    Place the baking sheet onto the wire rack in the preheated oven, then close the door to begin cooking.
  14. Step 14

    Remove when done, place the pinwheels on a cooling rack to cool, then serve with the remaining mustard sauce.
