Step 1
Rinse the apples in clean cold water.

Slice the apples into quarters and place the cut side flat on the cutting board. Cut off the core.

Place all the ingredients, except the brown sugar and maple syrup, into the inner pot of the COSORI Pressure Cooker.

Place the lid onto the pressure cooker.

Step 5
Select the Pressure Cook function, adjust pressure to high and time to 15 minutes, then press Start.

Step 6
Release pressure naturally by leaving the pressure cooker alone until the float valve is flush with the lid. Slide the steam release switch to Vent to release any remaining pressure.

Open the lid carefully.

Pick out all the whole spices and discard.

Pour the contents through a fine mesh strainer and use a wooden spoon to extract as much juice as possible.

Whisk in the light brown sugar and maple syrup until well dissolved.

Step 11
Serve the mulled apple cider hot or let cool completely and chill overnight.

- 6 Granny Smith apples
- 4 whole cinnamon sticks
- 1 orange, sliced
- 6 cloves
- A pinch of nutmeg
- 1-inch piece ginger, peeled
- 6 cups water
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
