 - Spicy Filled Portobello Mushrooms


  1. Step 1

    Place the crisper plate into the COSORI Air Fryer basket. 

  2. Step 2

    Scrape and discard the gills from the undersides of the mushrooms using a spoon.   

  3. Step 3

    Whisk the garlic, olive oil, vinegar, salt, oregano, crushed red pepper flakes, and basil together in a medium bowl. 

  4. Step 4

    Genltly rub the marinade all over the mushroom, then let it marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature.  

  5. Step 5

    Remove the mushroom from the marinade. 

  6. Step 6

    Place the mozzarella onto the crisper plate with the gill side facing down. 

  7. Step 7

    Select Air Fry, adjust the temperature to 385°F and time to 8 minutes, then press Start/Pause

  8. Step 8

    Flip the mushroom over and fill it with the cheese. 

  9. Step 9

    Select Air Fry, adjust the temperature to 400°F and time to 2 minutes, then press Start/Pause

  10. Step 10

    Remove the mushroom when done, then serve garnished with extra basil
