Select the Preheat function on the COSORI Air Fryer, adjust the temperature to 370°F, then press Start/Pause.
Cut the pitas in half, then cut each half into 4 equal triangles.
Place the pita pieces into the preheated air fryer and spray them with oil until they are evenly coated on all sides.
Set the temperature to 370°F, time to 9 minutes,then press Start/Pause.
Shake the basket halfway through the cooking time.
Remove the pita chips when done. Let them sit in a bowl for 10 minutes before serving – they will continue to crisp as they cool down.
Place the garbanzo beans in a food processor or blender along with the tahini and garlic. Blend until smooth, then add in the olive oil with the motor running. Thin out by blending in with a tablespoon or so of water as needed, if the texture seems too thick. Season the hummus to taste with lemon juice and salt, then serve with the pita chips.
