How to Pick Chicken Thighs

When choosing chicken thighs at the grocery store, look for fresh color, plumpness, and avoid damaged products. You can also consider labels that indicate how the chicken was raised.

Ingredient Swaps

You can swap oyster sauce with a mixture of hoisin sauce and soy sauce.

Oven Instructions

To make in a conventional oven, preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with foil, then place a wire rack on top. Place the prepared chicken onto the wire rack, then bake at 425°F for 18 to 25 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown, crispy, and fully cooked. Toss the cooked chicken and enough sauce as needed in a medium bowl until it is evenly coated.

Nutrition Information

Lemon is the star of this recipe, and for good reason. From the zest of the peel to the juice, lemon contains a variety of health-promoting properties—including hesperidin. Research suggests that this citrus flavonoid may help protect against cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk by reducing oxidative stressand inflammation while improving arterial blood pressure and lipid metabolism.
