Step 1
Combine the ketchup, dark brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper in a large bowl. Transfer 2 tablespoons into a small bowl and set aside. -
Step 2
Place the chicken pieces into the large bowl and toss to combine. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight. -
Step 3
Place the crisper plate into the COSORI Air Fryer basket. -
Step 4
Select the Preheat function, adjust temperature to 385°F, then tap Start/Pause. -
Step 5
Skewer the marinated chicken pieces, bell pepper, and onion pieces onto wood or metal skewers until you’ve used up all the chicken. -
Step 6
Place the skewers onto the preheated crisper plate. -
Step 7
Select the Air Fry function, adjust time to 14 minutes, then tap Start/Pause. -
Step 8
Flip the skewers halfway through cooking and brush the reserved 2 tablespoons of marinade over the skewers. -
Step 9
Remove the skewers when caramelized and golden brown, then serve.
