Instructions

  1. Set mode to Sauté, adjust time to 20 minutes, and tap Start
  2. Add oil, onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper into the inner pot of the rice cooker. Sauté for 5 minutes. 
  3. Add tri-tip into the inner pot of the rice cooker and sauté for 10 minutes. 
  4. Add tomato sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, and soy sauce into the inner pot of the rice cooker. Sauté for 5 minutes. 
  5. Select Cancel when done. 
  6. Set mode to Slow Cook, adjust time to 2 hours, and tap Start
  7. Select Cancel when done. 
  8. Set mode to Sauté, adjust time to 30 minutes, and tap Start
  9. Add potato cubes and carrots into the inner pot of the rice cooker and cook for 20 minutes. 
  10. Add bell pepper into the inner pot of the rice cooker and cook for 10 minutes. 
  11. Remove when done, season to taste, and serve while hot. 

Chef Notes:  Best while served hot.
