How to Pick Ground Chicken

Pick fresh ground chicken by looking for a bright pink color, avoiding gray or pale shades, and ensuring the packaging is not swollen. Choose air-chilled and organic options for higher quality, and ensure the meat is cold, plump, and firm to the touch, with a "use-by" date that allows for immediate cooking.

Instructions

  1. Set mode to Sauté, adjust time to 20 and tap Start 
  2. Add onion and garlic into the inner pot of the Cosori Rice Cooker and Sauté for 10 minutes. 
  3. Add ground chicken into the inner pot of the Cosori Rice Cooker and Sauté for 8 minutes. 
  4. Add the brown sugar, bay leaves, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, vinegar and black pepper into the inner pot of the Cosori Rice Cooker and cook for 2 minutes. 
  5. Select cancel when done. 
  6. Separate the solids from the liquid and set aside. 
  7. Use the COSORI measuring cup to add 3 cup Long Rice to a fine mesh sieve 
  8. Wash and drain rice with a fine mesh sieve until water runs clear and add the Rice into the inner pot of the COSORI Rice Cooker. 
  9. Fill the inner pot of the COSORI Rice Cooker with water until it reaches the 3 cup long grain fill line. 
  10. Add the solids back into the inner pot of the Cosori Rice Cooker 
  11. Select the White Rice function, set to long grain, adjust texture to hard, and tap Start 
  12. Mix when doneseasoned to taste and serve while hot.
