Crunchy Green Bean Dog Treats

16 ounces frozen green beans, cut, thawed

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ cup water
+
½ cup applesauce
+
1 tablespoon honey
+
2½ cups whole wheat flour or oat flour

60 blueberries

Directions
STEP 1
Pat the thawed green beans dry with paper towels.
STEP 2
Add the green beans to a bowl, then add the olive oil and toss to coat.
STEP 3
Place the green beans evenly between the COSORI Food Dehydrator trays.
STEP 4
Set temperature to 135°F and time to 4 hours, then press Start/Stop.
STEP 5
Remove the treats when done and dried and crunchy. Cool to room temperature on the trays, then serve to your pet.
STEP 6
Remove when done, cool to room temperature on the trays, then serve to your pet.
STEP 7
Set temperature to 160°F and time to 4 hours, then press Start/Stop.
STEP 8
Remove the treats when done and dried but not crispy. Cool completely, then serve to your pet.
STEP 9
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
STEP 14
Remove the empanadas when done and brush again lightly with the egg wash for shine while they are still very hot, then serve with the chimichurri on the side.
