What is the Shake Reminder?

  • This is a helpful reminder to shake or flip your food halfway through cooking. The air fryer will beep, and “((SHAKE))” will blink on the display.
  • Simply remove the basket to turn off the reminder.
  • If you don't remove the basket, the Shake Reminder will alert you again after 1 minute.

How do I shake my food?

  • It’s easy! Hold the basket just above a heat-resistant surface and shake it. Make sure you don’t press the basket release button while you shake.
  • If the basket is too heavy to shake, set it down on a heat-resistant surface. Separate the baskets and make sure no liquids are dripping. Carefully shake the inner basket. Do not use this method if there is a risk of hot liquids splashing.
  • If the baskets are too heavy to shake and there are hot liquids present, we recommend using tongs to mix or flip your food.

How do I switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius?

Press and hold the Temp/Time button for 3 seconds. The air fryer will beep once and the temperature unit will change from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

Where should I place the air fryer?

We recommend placing your air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Make sure you keep it away from areas that can be damaged by steam (such as walls or cupboards). Please leave 5 inches / 13 cm of space behind and above the air fryer.

Do I need to preheat my air fryer?

  • Unless your air fryer is already hot, we recommend preheating to ensure your food cooks thoroughly and to create a crispy texture.
  • To preheat your air fryer, simply tap the Preheat button, then tap Start/Pause.
